I have been away for awhile. I've been quite busy, working full-time to support my loving fiance and beautiful pet ~BeautyKillsLies (https://www.deviantart.com/beautykillslies). I've taken a break on my writing for some time as work keeps my schedule pretty tight and I have spent most of my spare time working on my new craft, rope art or Shibari. I have fallen in love with the simplicity and intricacy of the beautiful jute rope that I have been handmaking myself. I get lost in the intimacy and concentration involved in the various ties. A lot has transpired since the last time I sat down and wrote a journal here on DA. My time spent out west in the Park was interesting to say the least. It was a rather stimulating experience and ultimately was very good for me. I left on bad terms with the company but made quite an impact on those people that I did meet and held close out there. I had the opportunity to run from federal cops, got to visit vegas briefly, was able to visit the majestic Grand Canyon, and was able to experience some of the dankest weed in one of the most beautiful of environments that the states have to offer. After 6 months of waiting and a brutal 58 hour drive from Alabama to Utah I have finally arrived at the park. It has surpassed all of my expectations yet perhaps I'm just enamored with the fact that I've escaped the South. Still this park is absolutely stunning. The sights along the way were equally as breathtaking and some more humorous. Still it's a different world for me and all so very strange. Let us hope I learn to adapt well to this new environment. I believe the late great Lizard King said it best, "The West is the best! Just get here and we'll do the rest." Either way the park is beautiful, it's a completely new slate about 2000 mile
